The ZSP Technology Park located upon the University of Groningen Campus, is conveniently located between two major European telecommunications centers in Amsterdam and Hamburg. With fiber and conduit access being build connecting these two major European cities, Groningen is positioned to become a major relief site for all Pan European and international networks. Eemshaven located 40 kilometers to the north of Groningen, provides easy access to the North Sea for submarine cable systems. The University offers a wide variety in ICT related Research Areas and Expertise centers.   The University also provides a mentoring/work study program for companies locating in the Zernikeborg.
